Loredana Filippis, a Groveland, Florida resident, is a retired finance professional experienced in money room operations, teller services, and cashiering, as well as mortgage loan processing, underwriting, and consulting. Since retiring, Loredana Filippis has pursued her passion for various hobbies and interests.

Following her tenure as a mortgage loan consultant at the New York Mortgage Company , Ms. Filippis embarked on an exciting travel adventure. For nearly 10 years she explored various destinations in her recreational vehicle, a 48’ Dutch Star, bringing along her two Harley Davidsons, a 1999 Heritage Springer and a 2003 Dyna Wide Glide.

In 2012 , Ms. Filippis took up horseback riding by leasing a horse and teaching herself how to ride. Within two years, she became a member of the Sumter County Mounted Patrol Posse, a dedicated group of volunteers assisting law enforcement agencies in different capacities while patrolling on horseback.

Loredana Filippis has a passion for sports, such as pickleball, tennis, and softball, and has had notable success. She earned medals in numerous pickleball tournaments, achieving 1st place in both women's singles and doubles categories, as well as securing third place in mixed doubles during a 2015 tournament in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. In tennis, she came in first in a tournament held at the Lady Lake Senior Games in June 2022 and another 1st place in February 2022 at Polk county Senior Games . Also A tournament in November 2022, for the Greater Clermont Florida Cancer foundation she came in
1st place woman’s doubles and 1st place mixed doubles at Summit Greens tennis facilities. Currently, she plays softball in the Tri-County Florida Women's Softball League.
